Miguel Camarena was born in 1963 in Chihuahua, Mexico, moving to California in 1976. As a young artist, he worked in Hollywood as an illustrator, before turning to fine art painting later in his career. His paintings reflect his memories of early childhood and the traditional peoples and customs of the land of his birth.
